Nice thriller. Plenty of red herrings. Plenty of suspense and build up.
Possibly some unnecessary moralizing, but still an enjoyable read.
Wavering between 3 and 4 stars over the ending (possibly post script), but will err on the side of generosity.

The Girl Before is an intriguing story about a controlling landlord, and the past repeating itself...

Delaney writes an excellent intertwined novel, with the lives of the past and the future - Emma and Jane - following the same course. But when Emma's timeline ends in a gruesome death, what can Jane do to stop it? It was a great book, with an ending I never expected, however it contained excessive amounts of awkward scenes which made me not like it as much.
