I don't usually like poems, but this was an exceptional collection of poems! My favorites were Annabel Lee, To My Mother, and For Annie. There is a nice mix of dark and gloomy poems and light and loving poems.

I love Poe and can't think of a better author to read in October. He has some creepy stuff. It's fantastic!

This is just so fun like I can see why Poe is so respected he’s just so fun, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the Simpson’s rendition of this.

The Raven is a great poem because it has an unreliable narrator yelling at a bird who is also an unreliable narrator.
