I read this story purely to be caught up for Gareth's story. I don't think I needed to and it was an okay book. It felt very similar to Creighton's story and I didn't love his story as much as Krill or Nikos. Honestly God of fury is top tier and none can compare. I was left wanting more from Jeremy. He just had no personality. Cecily would have been better off with anyone else. Jeremy's only redeeming quality was how well he dealt with Cecily's trauma so he gets an extra star for that.

Jeremy is the definition of “He falls first” My guy did not care that she was in love with his enemy. He claimed her with all her flaws. Cecily’s backstory broke my heart. She was silently suffering and Ava would make everything worse for her. Like at the club? I was so mad she acted that way.
Overall character development was amazing. The ending did feel a bit rushed. The villain came out of no where and I had forgotten about him to be honest.
