After a lot of procrastinating i read Jeremy's book and Ugh this book is over
3.5 ⭐️’s
where do i even start? i went into this book a jeremycecily hater. i thought cecily was as boring as watching paint dry a and jeremy grew on me in god of pain, but never did i think i’d end up simping over him.. or that i’d end up having a soft spot for cecily? tbh, i really didn’t think i’d even like this series as much as i do, but i’m now fully invested and am sad i’m caught up.
in god of malice i wasn’t a fan of any side characters and even disliked most or them(especially cecily). i really didn’t see much past killian which ultimately made me dislike everyone. in this book however you get to understand why cecily is so reserved and then get to see how great she actually is once jeremy brings it out of her. a lot of people talk down on cecily, but if you can’t relate to her in anyway then i guess it’s simple to dislike her. as for jeremy, i went into this book very unsure about him. although he grew on me in gop, a lot of people dragged him for his sexual tastes (in reviews) and compared him to killian so i wasn’t the happiest about actually starting this book.. BUT i’m glad i ended up just giving in and just reading without being too critical. first off, everyone’s taste is different so the judgy comments on jeremycecily’s kinks are just odd. they aren’t at all taboo and quite frankly i’ve read wayyyy “worse”. as for the killian comparisons, outside of the obsession all the logs men’s share over their women, there’s nothing to compare. one thing i can say is that rina is great at writing her mmc’s. yes she can be a bit repetitive, but she knows how to write a man with a filthy mouth and adoration for his woman. hence my love for every last mmc so far. jeremy was a great mix of dark and light..
my deductions are the rushed ending (rina’s forte

Cecily Knight my fav girl from the series so far! I hurt for her She’s truly the Mama bear of the group. She puts everyone else’s needs before hers. The real reason she prefers wearing clothes that cover her was so sad
