You get hints from the prior books who will be the couples in the following books and this pairing didn’t surprise me much. Not when enemies-to-lovers is such a popular trope. Jeremy and Cecily were weirdly perfect for each other and I think I enjoyed God of Wrath the most out of this series so far. They were exactly what the other needed, even if they needed to be kicked in the butt on several occasions to admit it to themselves. There was so much will they/won’t they drama throughout this book that was just yanking on my emotions the entire time. I will always love a tough mafia guy that is only soft for her, and God of Wrath has that in spades.

I am devouring this series and I am enjoying it, but what is your with the parent pov chapters? Like I get the parents were from an earlier Rina Kent series but, especially in their one, the way the parents talk about their kids fucking makes me cringe so bad… this one would have been my favorite so far if it wasn’t for that

When I started reading this at 1 am it seemed much better than when I woke up and finished it the next day lol.

There are full chapters from the POV of each main characters’ dad? I imagine they must have been a part of a different series by the author and it was supposed to be fan service but instead it reads as very strange to randomly get their dad’s thoughts.

I think if we did not get the male mc pov the book would have been better to me since it felt like the author was just trying to make him as edgy or villainous as possible while then having the fmc talk about how he is sweet sometimes lol. At least show some of that to balance everything else

def my fav of the series so far i’m convinced he actually loves her
