 I wish I would have read this (along with JL Collin's The Simple Plan to Wealth, to which this would make a good complementary/companion reading) when I was in my 20s, but still there's some useful perspectives and advice to be found in here even if you are middle-aged, already married (and thus past the point of thinking about a pre-up), and childfree (though the chapter on planning for childcare even before you have any kids can be generalized to any medium-term financial goal). I like both her clear-eyed and practical stance ("the system is unfair and in many ways stacked against you, especially if you are a woman, so it's extra important to be strategic and understand how the game works") and her snarky voice.
