It felt a bit slow with too many different stories going on at certain points. Although I imagine it will all connect by the end of the trilogy.

sequel series seem to be hit or miss for me, with most of them being misses. but the fragile threads really hit the ground running. the weaving of narratives between the three londons with new pov characters teasing future plot threads kept me hooked throughout the entire book. if you weren’t a fan of the pacing from the first series especially the second and third installment this entry follows the same structure giving interludes of flashbacks to integral new pov characters.
