This was a quick, character-driven supplemental story to Solitaire and Heartstopper (vol 4) — a lightning-fast read only worth checking out alongside the other books. I’ve always really enjoyed Tori, so it was nice to see more about her relationship with Charlie. Alive Oseman writes teenagers so well, and I love the Spring siblings! And as usual, she tackles real-life, difficult issues with such a deft, caring touch. Charlie’s journey with anorexia is well-drawn that it becomes a teachable moment without being pedantic. Oseman, you’re too good.
