Cutest thing ever!
Teared up here and there but there were happy tears.
So cheesy but somehow realistic.
There were scenes that were dark and tackled heavy topics like mental illness and eating disorders. Oseman represented it with respect though and this taught me a thing or two about these topics.
Sidenote: Oliver and Harry must be protected at all times.

my largest problem with this book is the fact that so many things they say about disordered eating just feel like an infographic on instagram. YES — we know recovery isnt linear/some mental hospitals are good/therapy is good, actually — SAY SOMETHING NEW !

emotional funny hopeful lighthearted reflective tense fast-paced

This novella was so interesting to read. After reading the Heartstopper novels, it was interesting to get a case study of the kids in the Spring family. To get the different viewpoints from the argument touched on in Volume Four of Heartstopper was truly interesting to read and Oliver was definitely the highlight of this read; however, I do wish that his snippet was longer. I also wish that we got more of each of the characters, but I understand that, as a novella, it’s going to be shorter.
