it was really nice to hear the perspectives of all 3 siblings, they all had very distinctive voices. i already knew tori from solitaire and charlie from nick and charlie/heartstopper so it was nice to get ollie's pov for once.
i liked the way charlie's ed was addressed, especially the way christmas is a difficult time for people suffering from eds. tori's chapter was my favourite, just because she's the one i relate more to.
overall, this is a nice story that i can see myself coming back to every year around the holidays. would recommend it to anyone who already loves these characters.

Loved it, and now into Solitaire :)
I decided to read this before reading Solitaire, as (apart from it being book 0.5) I wanted a short introduction to Tori before picking Solitaire up. And I really enjoyed it, though these few pages do deal with a lot. But those topics were dealt with in a gentle way, though characters ignorant to people dealing with mental health problems and/or making fun/having stereotypes are also depicted.
Trigger warnings for eating disorder and mental health.

I didnt love it. It was good and it dealt with the topic of mental illnesses really well and I of course loved the characters but the plot was a bit pointless for me.
I feel like Charlie and his mom having an argument is the main cause for the plot (talking about mental health and leaving his house on christmas day) and then Charlie comes bavk and his mom simply apologizes...there is no real development there
