ok time to write my review, this was 3.75 star. loved the premise, i think it was a bit rushed by the end to make it too much like twd even though it was good enough without the emphasis on the apocalypse subplot. i felt like i was reading a good wattpad fanfic (not derogatory it actually brought back 2015 wattpad nostalgia) but the writing got a lot better by the end.
i liked their dynamic SOOOOO much i feel like there could’ve been a better development of their backstories, nonetheless loved this book

the slow burn in this was so good, their moments together felt so charged, the chemistry was natural, fastest 500 pages
I'm a sucker for an apocalypse survival enemies to lovers kind of romance, and this one is great. The romance build up was fantastic, and the world was sufficiently cruel. Not to mention — zombies! This is going to be a perfect pick for fans who want more survival in their sapphic romance.
obsessed with both saff and maddie, so freaking cute ughhh. got that good old emptiness-fulfillment combo lingering in my heart when i finished
