It felt too disturbing to read at that moment.

Good, relatively quick read. Classic thriller feel, but compared to Sutanto's other works (namely "Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers) the plot felt predictable and the writing felt rushed. Probably used Chekhov's Gun a little too liberally. The prose was simplistic but not elementary, and the book has a strong ending. Worth a read, especially if you've enjoyed other Sutanto books.

Not my favorite by this author. Definitely no humor, but the plot was a lot more basic too. A YA version of “You”.

I found it super creepy reading about a stalker and hearing their justifications. As a young female this is one of my biggest fears and overall I put the book down for my mental health.
Nevertheless it was incredibly well written and the switching POVs were used to great effect.

I think this book is okay, the pacing of events could’ve been better and the ending is very sudden but otherwise I think it’s worth reading.

i wanted to like this one but honestly it’s was just okay in every way. it was really promising at first but the ending kinda disappointed me. especially because it was left on a cliff hanger. not one of the clique “to be continued” one but Delilah just walked away from a conversation and then i flip the page and there’s the acknowledgments. it felt really out of place to just end the entire book with no final conclusion. you don’t find out what happened to Delilah, if she got arrested, moved to college, confessed to Aisha or what. So it felt sort of sloppy and lazy toward the end.
