It was an intriguing book but the ending felt like it should've happened earlier and it wasn't very fulfilling. I really liked Delilah as a character #supportwomenswrongs

this book was so good?? such a fun read with a very interesting plotline. i loved reading the different perspectives. logan was definitely super creepy but delilah isn't technically a good person either so um.. very mixed feelings about the characters but overall it's a good read!

I listened to this book on audio. This book had so much potential, yet the ending was extremely flat. I don’t know if it had to do with the narrators or it was the author’s doing. There were two of narrators. One female, one male. The male narrator did a fantastic job portraying his character. The female narrator made the story tough to listen to. Her expressions didn’t match up with the female character. The audiobook kept me engaged. At one point I was on the edge of my seat. Then it just ended. As if you were watching a video and you ran out of tape. Disappointed.

I'm not gonna lie I read this book because someone said it was giving "YOU" vibes and that sold me. I love that show. And after reading this they're right. It's "YOU", but make it YA and in high school.

It follows two POVs: Delilah and Logan.

I would like to note that I read this as an audiobook at 2-2.10x speed and that really made the book a breeze to read. It indirectly set the mood for the whole thriller vibe that the author was going for. And it made for a quick read.

Reading both Logan and Delilah's POVs were great, but I'm gonna be straight with you I was pretty bored with the story until
she found out that he was stalking her. Then the story really started to move along. And we really got to see Delilah gradually start to grow deranged after her first kill. And start to see her grow more cynical with each thing she learned. And I also liked how realisti  her constant panicking was. And the whole prey v. predators aspect the author had going on. I do wish she could've been smarter in terms of digging dirt up on Logan though.
I really enjoyed that part. It was nice seeing how Logan and Delilah were secretly plotting against one another. Although it was rushed I found the last few remaining chapters pretty satisfying.

Critics: I kinda wished we got more of Logan's homelife. We never really delved into his backstory or only got bits and pieces into Logan's fixation with Sophie. I'm curious as to what lead him to such thought processes. Of cours considering this is a young adult novel I don't expect it to be too intricate, but it would've been nice if we also got to know more of the characters too. Speaking of, it kinda annoyed how useless Logan's supposed best friend was. I felt like he could've planned a bigger role. And the way Delilah found out about Logan's antics and just her own secret about the
her being the one dealing drugs at the school
was very anticlimactic. It's a decent novel though.

For most of the book, I was expecting to learn more about Sophie. Although Sophie still feels like a mystery to me, Delilah’s story made up for it. I really enjoyed Delilah’s character besides the parts in library, but then, the ending had me wanting more!

This book was so interesting to read but could be very triggering for someone in a toxic relationship or has an abusive relationship. It also talks about sui...cide so just be very careful reading it.

..I was excited to go in this book cause I've heard all about the big plot twist at the end, did I by some chance read a different book cause where was that plot twist? All of the story is in the blurb and there is absolutely no plot twist according to me, everything was pretty obvious from the beginning. The ending felt so rushed and incomplete thi I do hope that the next part will elaborate on that more. Overall it was a pretty decent book :)
