Just when I thought Phillip couldn’t say anything worst he manages too - still a somewhat enjoyable book but by far my least favourite in the series currently; Eloise ending up with a man who’s only desires are for a wife to take over the parental role he’s been neglecting feels disingenuous to her character - I understand her tv counterpart is written to be more loud(?) than the snippets we have of her in the books until this point but man why would she go for someone who tells her to stop talking so much ??? And that he just wants a mother for his kids?????
Anyways she should’ve been secretly a lesbian or something instead , missed opportunity to have had her secretly pine for Penelope until she secretly falls for another woman or something

Eloise and Phillip are NOT my fav but still enjoyable since I was on a roll.
Favourite so far! Laughed a lot! Loved the dating while parenting part - relatable! I adore Eloise but so wish Sir Phillip was Sir Phillipa. He was such a desperate man and she'd be much better off with a woman! Off to find that fanfiction🤣
