If you don't like flowery language or a lot of tangents you will not like this book. Like I find it bearable but at the end it got a little bit too much to the point I was like can we move on.
The themes of queerness, misogyny and cisheteronormativity were explored quite well. Though the narrative and prose felt preachy at times. Mostly because of the flowery language and the long tangents as explained before.
Don't know how I feel about certain Goddess' portrayals but it is less sanitised that a lot of other portrayals

Spicier than I expected. This felt like it was written to “teach us a lesson” about queerness and nonbinary folks, rather than existing on its own as a queer story. Also, the Greek myth part falls flat when I compare it against other Greek myth retelling novels. Still was a beautiful story, if extremely spoon fed and a bit too wordy!

This book made me feel so many emotions! It was the perfect blend of romance, adventure, inner conflicts and Greek mythology.
This is the best mythology retelling I’ve read since Song of Achilles.
