I hated the way Eros and Psyche were characterized and all of the side characters were just terrible. I was really excited for this book but I found it frustrating and annoying. The gods did not behave like gods and psyche was alternately empowered and whiny and every male character in this was terrible there wasn't a single good one and all of the supporting characters were terrible. Don't even get me started on Eros' gender which in my opinion was not handled well at all.
