Great for K-3. Students could come up with different combinations for an extension.

Love this! I wish I had it when I was trying to grasp the concept of multiplication. Count the feet of different beach animals in the book for a goofy explanation of counting by tens. Appropriate for ages 4 and up; even if they aren't yet ready for the math, it's just a fun book to read.

I love using this with the early elementary kids for a fun way to represent numbers! So simple and fun, and I like the way it encourages the reader to see that the numbers can be combined in more than one way.

A fun way to count, will lead into understanding times tables once the children get a little bit older. Can lead to all sorts of counting games with feet of dolls, teddies, animals and the children themselves or counting wheels of cars and trucks.

The pictures are lovely, children tend to pay attention when I read it.
