As much as I praised the start of the Vie Ghoul arc for its humor in my book 14 review, it took a dark turn in book 15. It’s still incredibly good and I’m loving the reread, but we get all 3 male main characters involved, and it’s a lot. I’m hoping things lighten up in book 16, but I do not remember.

Reino leave our precious broken-hearted girl alone!!!! Sho being protective of Kyoko makes me confused because obviously I hate him and don't want to see him so human. How dare the author let him be a person. Hahahahaha. I do enjoy the individual Sho growth, we get to see him as more than just a spoiled brat and deal with Vie Ghoul in a cunning way. Just stay away from our Kyoko...

Sho is abuuuuusive and it is not romantic at all that he had to step in when Kyoko is being sexually assaulted. If the only way you can make your "love interest" look good is to have someone LITERALLY THREATEN TO RAPE YOUR PROTAGONIST then maybe your love interest is TRASH and you could actually skip this trashfire of an arc. It slows down all actual plot and makes Kyoko a prop in her own story.
