Fast paced

This book is very fast paced. I believe the timeframe is only about a week but within that week so much happens. But what starts it off is a case of mistaken identity that gets Cara kidnapped and in the hands of Ace. And Ace can’t let her go once he has her. Ace and Cara’s connection is strong and steamy. There was no way they’d be able to resist each other.

This is a steamy novella. His Dancer is a quick read that is engaging. Ace and Cara have sizzling chemistry. Cara is likable and Ace is complex. This is short story that get right to the point. Very entertaining.

This is a darkish instalove beginning with a case of mistaken identity. Cara is covering a shift for a coworker when she’s kidnapped by a couple of thugs. Of course, they grabbed the wrong girl.

Cara is a naively sweet heroine but she’s likable. For a guy who kidnapped her, Ace is understanding and to a point, nice. He’s not all hearts and rainbows. He coerces Cara into giving him a blow job in from of the woman his dumb thugs were supposed to have kidnapped originally.

Story 3/5, Spice 3/5, Darkness 2/5, slower burn, no condoms, no virgins (though h has only had 1 previous partner), dub con exhibitionist BJ, brief separation but neither are with others and still pine for each other, some violence. No cheating (though H threatens to have OW blow him if h refuses), no cliffhanger and HEA for couple.

These Hale brothers

So far, His Dancer is my favorite book in the Dance With Me Series.
It’s a short Novella that starts with a case of mistaken identity.
Ace is the head of the Hale crime family and not the kind of man you want to piss off.
He’s looking for a man that stole from his family and decides the man’s sister Leanna is the perfect pawn.
But there's a big problem, the girl he kidnapped doesn't have a brother, and her name’s Cara, not Leanna.
As you can only imagine, this is a big problem for Ace.
He doesn’t want to hurt Cara, but he also doesn’t want to let her go.
To find out how their story plays out, read His Dancer by Darcy Rose and Lucy Smoke.
