This was an extremely cute book all the way through! Hani and Ishu both have very distinct and full personalities and I love the way the match but are never quite the same. They are compliments of each other throughout the story. And beyond that they are human, both with flaws, and both of whom make mistakes.

It's a sweet story that I definitely know I'll be coming back to again and again.

It was a very simple, lighthearted and hopeful. Hani has such a healthy family. They are so supportive of her being bisexual, even though they're muslims. It was really unexpected. And on the other hand, while ishu never thought or said it, but Her parents were toxic. I teared up when her mother finally showed a Lil bit of support. I'm so glad she got Nik. An elder sister really solves all our problems.

Their love story was so sweet and cute. I want to see how it turns out after a few years. And also how they come out to ishu's parents and how they react to it but i guess we'll never know. It was my first time reading a novel with bengali muslim characters and based in Ireland, so ig i gathered up some random knowledge about those things. And i hated the principal of the school soooo much in the story. Anyways, it was overall a good read. I just took one star out because it was very simply written. My fav books are based in fantasy genre so I like to read a bit complex writing but it's all on me. This novel was great. Really good for light Summer read when you don't want to get in anything too intense.

this was so wholesome :’) one of those books that i wanted to read in one sitting. the south asian representation >> and i appreciated how the author tackled complex themes (e.g. biphobia, racism). their relationship developed in such a lovely way, would def recommend if you enjoy reading YA romance books that are cozy but can be serious when it needs to be :)

It was amazing, the frustrations I felt from the characters, their confusions and sweetness oozed from the words to a stunning level. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!!

this book was SO GOOD !!! i loved hani and ishu, and all the representation in this book, i wish it was longer and that’s about the only bad thing about this book that doesn’t fully make it a five star read for me!

the way racism was tackled in this book was something that really showed me how much things that seems so small to a white person can be so demeaning for a POC, and how easy it is to “get used” to racism or not even notice it because it happens so much, and it’s not okay. i also loved how the author portrayed the way homophobia and racism go hand and hand and how it was done so well by showing the reader that one isn’t worse than the other and how it’s not a winning or losing battle when everyone’s getting hurt.

the characters, the lessons, the love in this book is truly amazing and i would recommend it to anyone because this book is such a good book for all kinds of people!!
