I enjoyed it but I didn't, I was enraptured but I was bored. It was an emotional journey and written from the heart - I suppose that's why I had a hard time stomaching it at first. The writing is beautiful nonetheless, and I will read it again. Some poems captured the ways I felt in the past so perfectly it was scary. Some have an impeding sense of doom, some steal your breath in fear, in anticipation.

I was in a mood for a reread, tempered by fear that it wouldn't hold up. It holds up. Even the lines that have turned cliched on the backs of a thousand questionable tumblr gifsets are memorable for a reason.

Favorite from this read: "A Primer for the Small Weird Loves."
