I enjoyed reading this book, I didn't love it as much as I hoped I would though. Especially in the beginning of the book, I didn't really feel the dynamic between Daisy and Ryke like I did in the previous books but it definitely got better as the story progressed.
The core six's friendship in this book is just out of this world so it's definitely worth reading just for that!!
I just wanna mention quickly that there's a mistake in the book concerning the time zones that really really bothered me. Daisy (not a spoiler) was in Paris while everyone else was back in the States and I feel like it's common knowledge that it's earlier in the States than it is in France. It was the other way around in the book though and it just ruined the vibe in those scenes because it wasn't logical at all.

First book I read from this series!! Was very entertaining and I’m now thinking of reading the other books. It’s amazing to see their journey and comparing it from the beginning of the book to the ending. This has found family trope as well :D I  appreciate Daisy and Ryke. But I do honestly wish that they had made Daisy a couple of years older.

Some parts were okay. I’m still thinking of what to rate this book :)

Here are some quotes I highlighted

“I kissed you tonight because I want your lips to only touch mine. From now until forever. That’s the truth.”

“You’re my favorite four-letter word.”

“Hair color. Skin color. Big. Small. I like her. Not the body she comes in.”

“I was waiting for the sun to chase me”

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop”

“You are your own anchor. Do you want to keep yourself burning or are you going to let yourself rise?”

“You jump, I jump. That’s how this works, Dais. So you want to break your leg, split open your head, you’re going to do the same to me.”

“My hothouse flower that I will always keep alive.”

“Boys are like pillars, Rose tells me. ‘Ryke is something to lean on. But they don’t make you move. You have to do that for yourself.”

“I stare into her green eyes, ones that I will look into for so many more years.”

I am very late to this series, but thank goodness I am here!!!

I couldn't wait for Ryke and Daisy's book. So naturally, once I started I couldn't stop. Raisy was the couple I looked most forward to and that was just cemented when reading this.

Raisy alllll the way!!!
