Now Tanjiro is gonna be in some serious trouble. He went to the Village of Swordsmiths and two of the remaining Upper Rank Kizuki are going to that village to kill all of the Swordsmiths, so Tanjiro will have to face Upper Rank-4 and 5. In the village there are two Hashiras, Mitsuri and Muichiro. Mitsuri is soooo cuteee and I really love her dynamic with Nezuko. Nezuko even made Tanjiro braid her hair like Mitsuri!
Now Muichiro is a jerk but I guess he's not like that because he wants to, he just is, so I'm going to wait more to have a final thought about him.

We are halfway in the series! 11 volumes more to go, eep! In this one Tanjiro recovers, then visits the town of the swordsmiths (which had me laugh how that was done, I mean, I get it being secret, but all that effort? And then given the ending.. ). I wasn't happy to see Tanjiro's swordsmith again, I mean, that dude gets ANGRY at Tanjiro in a way that just rubs me wrong and for all the dumb reasons. I mean, swords are NOT supposed to break or chip that easily. And given that more people have problems with his swords/his attitude, it surprises me that he can still be a smith. But thankfully there is plenty of great other stuff happening, though the new kid was a bit annoying. He started off OK, but then went in some kind of mode that just rubbed me wrong, what is up with these people in this town? We also meet Genya and Mitsuri Kanroji! And later someone else. I loved seeing these though Genya. Please. Stop being deredere. XD The ending was exciting and OMG I need to read on!
Oh, and I love how Tanjiro stays kind and friendly and polite even in scary situations.

After the epicness of the last 3 volumes we slow it down here.

We get to see our hero learn some new moves and work with the swordmasters. It was actually pretty great to see their side of things more and learn about them. We also get the villains finally about to strike back and it's not looking to good. The book ends on a mega cliffhanger and sets up volume 14 to be fucking fantastic.

Also the faces in this are perfect.

Not as good as the last 3 volumes but still great.
