This was her best book so far. Genuinely. I have loved them all, but this was a whole other level. The plot twists? The emotions? The deaths? The ending?? I’m emotionally exhausted lol but Nyktos and Sera have my entire heart.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHDSKVBKSDBVB. No soy nada objetiva con esta saga, lo siento. Este spin-off me está dando la vida. Amo a sus personajes, amo la historia, amo el angst, amo el slow burn, amo los momentos tiernos de Sera con baby Janis y con Reaver, amo a Nyktos, amo a Nektas. AMO TODO. Tenía muchísimo miedo después de The War of Two Queens porque ese libro me decepcionó un poco y viniendo este después no quería que ocurriera lo mismo... y para nada. Fue mejor de lo que imaginaba. Podría profundizar más sobre por qué amo tanto estos libros pero estoy vaga y solo me sale CHILLAR.

I might pick it up again in the future, I remember loving the first book. Unfortunately in between reading book 1 and picking up book 2, I started reading the “from blood and ash” series which I ended up disliking quite a bit. I think that tainted this series for me too. Also, I’m not a fan of smut, personally. This one is heavy on it and I just got bored.
