Hmmmm, I found this book to be entertaining but so much of it was way over my head. I was glad I'd read Percival Everett's book Trees prior to this otherwise I might not have read it at all. He definitely has a unique style!

Can’t say I know what this novel was about outside of nothing. Super spies, super villains, and a one-legged dog. Extremely quirky and sort of like a comedic James Bond. I’m pretty sure I just read a novel with a similar atmosphere. Really enjoyed it and it was an engaging story throughout. Ostensibly about a heist of Fort Knox where the expected theft item was nothing.

A campy absurdist parody of James Bond films that I think was maybe a little to smart for me to fully understand.

It's hard to give a star value to this book because it's very unlike any other books I've read.

It made me laugh and I had a good time. John Sill was a great character. The nothing commentary got a bit old.
