This story was very mind-warping. Many know the story of Jeffrey Dahmer and the atrocities that he committed, but seeing it from the perspective of his classmate felt surreal. When you imagine the life of a serial killer, you ask yourself how nobody saw the signs. This book gives a realistic front-row seat to how Jeffrey went so long unnoticed and how unreal it must have felt to those who were around him.

This was a really interesting read and it's incredible to think that this is a memoir! Super eerie with a cool art style. It was really fascinating to get this perspective.

The story line was good and interesting but the artwork just distracted you from the story. I didn't care for the artwork at all.
This graphic novel asks the important questions - why did no adult step in to assist Dahmer while he was in high school. It was clear that he was drunk all the time and that his home life wasn't good - in a modern society this would have been reported to the authorities quickly. It didn't really humanize Dahmer in a way that made you feel sorry for him but in a way that made you ask those questions - what if he had received the help he needed in high school? Would this still have happened?
