this was for school (which is why it took two months to finish lol) but i actually enjoyed it!! i usually dont do animal pov books - they're just weird to me - but i loved the story and the meaning behind everything. the characters went through a lot and it felt like i true story - i started crying a bit at the beginning and the end...

I was not prepared for the sexual assault half way through the book and decided I could not finish

Also, the characterisation of the women characters in this book is bad. No one would behave the way Garth Stein writes Eve and it was beyond frustrating.
