Membaca buku ini karena sesungguhnya merupakan tuntutan dari topik skripsi yang aku bahas, yakni melihat kegiatan membaca dari segi cultural studies. Syukurlah, buku ini banyak membantuku yang benar-benar merupakan pemula kajian budaya. Disuguhkan dengan tampilan menarik karena terdapat banyak sekali ilustrasi yang kocak disamping bahasanya yang disesuaikan dengan pembaca awam.
