I hated this a lot less than the last book. It was fun-ish, and I only rolled my eyes audibly a few times. It wasn't anything to write home about though; the plot is transparent and the world building, slow. But at least our main character is less of a Mary Sue in this book....

This was another good book from a favorite author! I’m really enjoying the concept and characters. I’m going straight into the next one and excited to read the (so far) final book of this series!
