TW: Sexual abuse
Following the story of Eden and her journey through the trauma of dealing with sexual abuse was a rollercoaster, and I can only imagine that this is only a fraction of what survivors feel. Throughout the book I wanted to scream, cry and reach out to hug her. I really applaud the author for capturing this subject and going through the emotions and thoughts of the main character really well. I was very surprised that this book is for YA, being that the subject is so heavy, but the writing really helped shed light on this situation that happens very often in the real world. Definitely would recommend this book to others, even my younger sister.
