When I read Starcrossed I found it to be one of the sweetest relationships I had come across in written text; they were just so sweet together! The development was really well done.

But my main issue with this book is that I feel it could have benefited a fair amount with a tad of editing. Though well written, I recently re-read this as an adult, and I definetly feel that the sentence and vocabulary use are pretty basic and non-challenging. Nonetheless, it was still a great read, and so many years after my original read I found myself smilling and laughing at some of the lines.

Of course Lucas' family reminds one of the Cullens, but Angelini really pulls it off and they, as individuals, come much more to life than their "Twilight equivalents". In general, I would recommend this book, I just really loved it for all its flaws.
