I really like the dynamics of the sisters in this story and how they all fit into their new roles at the resort. I liked the idea of the romance between Vince and Cami but I honestly never felt the connection between them. I would have liked it if there had been more focus on them getting to know each other instead of them just kind of falling into what seemed like instalove. I’m kind of torn because I like that Vince just went for it with her but their very first time they were already acting like a couple who had known each other for longer than two quick conversations. I also realize that I think a lot like Cami and I just wanted her to fight falling in line with everything her dad wanted for her. Even though I agreed with what he thought was right for her I always get annoyed that someone else has chosen to make those choices for someone else.

It was a quick, easy read, which is what I expect when reading a romance novel. While I found that there were no real surprises in the plot, it was still entertaining to read. A great book for vacation reading.

Predictable but really cute - reminded me of Nora Roberts' Montana Sky.

It was an enjoyable, light romance, but I did lose patience at times with how heavyhanded some of the descriptive language was. The premise was sweet, but it was pretty hard to keep my disbelief suspended. I read romances for sheer entertainment value, but if I have to work too hard to accept the basic storyline as believable, it makes it more of a chore than fun.

I'm not really getting all the comments about how this book wasn't "clean" and such. Was it listed as a Christian romance or something? I thought it was too clean lol and needed a few more steamy scenes. If the other books are free, I'll read them, but probably won't pay for them.

I’m not a fan of the premise of this book, but it makes for an interesting series. A cheating father. 6 half-sisters (two were full siblings) who didn’t know about each other. All thrown together to open a hotel that their father built for them before his death. I didn’t like the main character; I was disappointed in her, but she did grow and change. The rest of the books tell the stories of the other sisters.
