Precious Ramotswe, the owner of the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency, is approached by a wealthy single woman who is being courted by several men. Her request for Precious Ramotswe? Investigate these men and determine their motives. This, obviously, requires the utmost care by the staff of the investigators. A gentle, enjoyable read.

Another installment without much detecting work being done. I love all the characters so it's not bad but I would like some cases to get solved in a detective agency series.
The ending was a total surprise!

Once again, Mma Ramotswe solves a mystery and some other problems in the last couple of chapters. The rest of the book, she takes us around Gaborone, talks to people, and thinks about life. Is her fiance going to take the plunge and commit to a wedding date? Is he going to jump out of an airplane? How about those other men her client is thinking about marrying? Mma Ramotswe wouldn't marry a single one of them, but is that a problem that needs solving? Or is it a mystery?
