Screaming, crying, throwing up, punch me in the face. I loved almost every second of it.

A perfect sapphic sci-fi. And my love for both Red and Blue can be pictured here. Their way to always connect to each other make me smile while reading. Yeah, their separation as being from Agency and Garden are no joke.

But, I just love their love. I think... it was pure. There will be war; still like Blue said. But, I believe that their loves and hearts... remain for each other.

Thank you, Amal and Max for the most poetic sci-fi story. I love it!

Loved this book, even though it took me way too long to read for a sub 200-page novella. Damn you, reading slump! As a result, I really don't think I grasped everything I could've from this layered book, so I'll be looking to reread sometime in the future.

Very hard to talk about this book as it's essentially just two characters sending letters back and forth with deeply confusing but extremely poignant and beautiful poetic prose. Every sentence drips with yearning and drama . This is the sort of book you save lines from to read again and again. There's very few characters but our main couple have different flavors to them in their individual sections. You absolutely do feel how much they care for one another despite their antagonistic beginning.

In all honesty I am not a huge poetry person and personally prefer more clear story elements, but I still enjoyed parts of this book. I don't believe I'd read it again, but I'd still reccomend it if you want a book that's just 100% desperate savage emotional vibes. The main characters are just 5th dimensional monster women full of violent yearning and that's pretty neat.

An interestingly arranged story of correspondence between two alien agents of opposing forces. Not plot heavy at all- chapters include little increments of world building/action, and end with a letter addressed from one mc to the other. A quick, possibly at times confusing read- but overall super enjoyable.

A pleasant read, although at times it felt like the authors added sci-fi mumbo jumbo to make the characters look more impressive than they were. The poetic writing got a bit tiring after a while but I did enjoy most of it separately.

I’m still confused after finishing it but I liked it. The ending brought this up to four stars.
