What a beautiful novella through time. The back-and-forth story makes for a quick read. I loved watching Red and Blue slowly let down their guards allowing themselves to fall in love.  This novella makes you think about what is truly important in life and why you do what you do.

I wasn’t sure how much I’d love this novella, so I was surprised at how upset I was when Red betrayed Blue. I was hoping there would be a little more resolution in the end, but I guess that’s what happens when you read a speculative sci-fi novella! Overall, I loved this novella.

I can confidently say that this is the best book I’ve ever read. I knew a little bit going in, but I’m so glad I decided to remain somewhat in the dark about the story. The writing of this book is some of the most beautiful I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. These are the types of words I dream of writing and of receiving. Red and Blue have my whole heart
and the thought of them fighting side by side with all the time in the world to experience each other brought me so much joy and comfort that I started crying as soon as I finished the last page.
This is a relatively quick read, so please, if anyone is on the fence about reading this, do yourself the biggest favor in the world and do it.

This is a book of poetry.
It's the most beautiful thing I've ever read. Incredibly witty. Mostly love letters written across time/alternative realities where they compliment each other with insults.
The least romantic thing they say to each other is "I love you"

A book I wanted to love but ended up having to force myself to finish. While the premise itself was interesting, digging even a little into it makes everything fall apart. If you want a character study with the backdrop of time travel, you would probably love this book. Unfortunately, I found the writing confusing yet beautiful at times, and the science fiction lacking any substance.

I think I over-hyped this book for myself. All the same, I did really enjoy it. The time travel mechanics are loose enough to not restrain the story but concrete enough that you learn the rules through the plot rather than being told them. The romance between the two protagonists is believable and enjoyable to read. The writing is lyrical and has great prose.

I think what I wanted from this book was just… more. It seemed a bit rushed, problems resolving quickly and the characters only being in love for a short time. I wanted more of their scheming on how to be together and their plans for the future (whatever that means in a time travel world). A longer book would provide more room for development for all the book’s aspects.

I did enjoy the ending, I thought it was well planned but not predictable. However, I think it could have benefited from the book being longer as well - everything happens so fast throughout the story that the sense of hurry at the climax is reduced comparatively.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in a sapphic sci-fi romance.

Such beautiful, descriptive language, I’ve never read (or listened to) anything like it before. This lovely novella packed so much development and world building into one concise tale, and I truly adored it. Truly a unique sci-fi romance that I can’t wait to recommend! Pro tip: Best listened to in one engrossing sitting.
