This was an enjoyable conclusion to the Wayfarers series. Tupo was definitely my favorite character.

Note: There were some odd typos. One of the section headers said “Daily 238” instead of “Day 238.” Another said “Dys” instead of “Days.” And the fourth section header was formatted differently than the others. It was labeled “Part 4” (none of the other sections are numbered), and it had the day/year in large font at the end instead of small font at the beginning.

Possibly my favorite of the series so far (yes, I’m finding hard to accept it has actually ended).

A wonderful story of life delightfully “happening” to a group of strangers, who are stuck together due to technical difficulties, waiting to get back to their “actual life”.

As usual, Chambers is a marvel at teasing out emotional tension in everyday interactions. The novelty of her sci-fi is in the characters’ ability to understand themselves, communicate whole heatedly, and have compassion for themselves and others.

Solid 3.5. Not as engaging as others in the series but I love the world that Chambers has created. A fun read!
