Content Warnings

This book put me in my place real quick. Thought I'd figured it out around 30%, but joke was on me.

My only complaint was that it suffered from whiplash syndrome. ALL THE TWISTS happened back to back at the end.

Also--was there a Final Girls-Riley Sager reference in there?

v good book. the twists were crazyyyy. and the pacing was perfect. I loved the switching between plotlines bc they flowed together so well. there were so many reveals, and so many layers to every reveal it was actually crazy. v well done. this author is crazy talented. the writing is good, the characters are good, the pacing is amazing (the perfect amount of suspense and buildup without dragging on too long or not giving enough), and the story is just crazy. would recommend for sure. def want to read more by her. great book.

I did enjoy reading this book. It was my first Fredia McFadden book and I will be reading more of her. I did not see the couple of twists at the end coming.

I really like that the couple in the end have both killed people. I did not at all expect Ethan to have killed his mom. I also really enjoyed that the tapes listened to in the beginning tied into the whole story

there were a few parts that got my heart going a smidge faster, but nothing too crazy. Just something in me can't give it four stars. It wad a good read but didn't over the top wow me like I've seen it do for others. I will absolutely be reading her other books though.

Até agora este foi a melhor tradução dos livros da Freida McFadde. Adorei, simplesmente é um thriller incrível que me leva a mim a todos até ao fim sem conseguir largar o livro. Tem reviravoltas impressionantes e a autora faz com que os nossos miolos explodam!!
