Disappointing. Although it was clearly written for cishet couples, I'm bummed about the language not being trans-inclusive.

Definitely adding this to my sex Ed/sexual health forever bookshelf. My favorite book to date on women’s sexuality. There’s even a condensed version at the end just for men.

I wish there was more inclusive language, but overall it was a very informative and validating read.

Looking for a smart, sassy book about feminism and sexuality and equal-opportunity orgasms? Becoming Cliterate is your gal.

It’s this year’s Come As You Are! With a complete focus on vulvas! This book is set up like a college textbook for female orgasm, with some philosophy and pep talks and then some hands-on experimenting. And a chapter at the end for male partners to read. What more could you need?

From Taking Care of Yourself with Books at Book Riot.

I disagree that there can be something like "feminist porn", who knows feminist theory understands that it is an oxymoron. Otherwise it is an excellent book.

if we could acknowledge that trans people exist and that they do, in fact, have sex, this totally could have been a five star book. instead, as a nonbinary person with a vulva and a penchant for sex education, I spent the duration of the book distracted and disappointed by the bioessentialist and cisnormative language. it was uncomfortable to be constantly refered to a as woman when reading this when I am not one, and the use of this language limits the audience the book is able to reach: while I could definitely recommend this book to my cisgender friends, this is not an educational resource I can recommend to my trans friends because their bodies are ignored in the conversation and they would have to be resigned to be misgendered for all of the 250 pages that they read.
nonetheless, the language and tone makes this an approachable resource for those who are not accustomed to such frank discussions of bodily pleasure and it is a book I would want to keep in my library of books on sexuality.
