This was the second book in the Sabine Valley series and it was mostly pretty good. Katee Robert wrote a great little world. This book wasn't show stopping or anything and the romance was decent but I wish it was a little more. Great smut though.

" Heres to the heat not to the heat that brings down barns and shanties but to the heat that brings down bras and panties. "

Following a payne brother. Broderick and the hardship of his won bride. The mixed emotions hateful to love. Friends to lovers. Enemies to lovers.

HOLY SHIT! If you think Abel was good...Broderick was even better! The connection between Monroe and Shiloh, the stubbornness of Shiloh and Broderick, the slow burn romance between Broderick and Monroe. I am living for this throuple! Their romance is frustrating and steamy, the backstory of Shiloh is heartbreaking and Monroe just has my heart. I love that bad bitch so much! Also that little mention of Malone and Carver City from the Wicked Villains series was not lost on me. Katee proves once again that she is the Queen of Smut, and Broderick has my so hyped for the rest of the series. Bring on Cohen!

Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC, in return for an honest review.

This is the first MFF romance I've read and let me tell ya, I NEED MORE LIKE IT. My bisexual heart belongs to Monroe. She was definitely my fav character. Sassy and sexy, just the way I like my women!

[Read in English]
Broderick is Abel's brother. This book is the second volume of a series which, under the guise of political intrigue and power struggles within gangs in Sabine Valley, explores polyamorous relationships.
Broderick therefore finds himself handfasted to Monroe for a year. But Broderick is in love with Shiloh. Who herself was assigned to close protection for Monroe. And Monroe, to enrage Broderick, decided to seduce Shiloh.
Love triangle therefore, since the physical attraction between each protagonist is undeniable. Which evolves into deeper feelings, which demonstrate that sometimes it takes three to make relationships really work...
