Thoughts
I thoroughly enjoyed this. I really liked the pacing of this book. It didn’t linger on one plot line too long so I never felt bored. I love the relationship development between our two main characters. I love this was equal part romance and equal part plot. I didn’t feel the romance overtook the plot but towards the end it did entwine.
I don’t know how people read this first book and waited for the second because there was a major cliff hanger at the end. So you can bet I’ve started the second book.
I’m excited to see where this goes. And while the end wasn’t my favourite I can see this being one of my favourite duologies. Depending how the second book goes.
If you like strong female characters, quest stories, romance and familial motivations I think you will like this book.
