Ripley just has such a special place in my heart. I love any stories we get where she has a chance to shine and not just be a source of ridiculous one-liners. Not the longest or most complex short, but it was cute! I wasn't fond of the art style in this one, just because it was SO different, but after a couple of pages you get used to it and just focus on the ghost pony story.

I liked this issue, it was a cute story. I do prefer the main run of this story though and the artwork in those is much better. I didn't hate this artwork it just didn't fit as well with the story to me.

Not my favorite Lumberjanes art or story, but it's still Lumberjanes, and I still loved it.

While I don't love the art in this special, Hicks's writing is fantastic as always!

There was nothing wrong with this issue other than the fact that it was SUPER SHORT. I bought it because I found the Fried Pie variant cover for $1.00. It was of course worth the $1.00, I just wish I got more story along with the pretty cover.

Ghost ponies, excellent. But kind of short and the story wasn't as layered as usual.
