If I wasn't the sort of person who liked nonfiction, this may be the nonfiction book for me however as someone who DOES like nonfiction l, this was far too...poetic? metaphorical? artsy? Something that if his primary point is trying to get people to avoid animal products for 2/3 of their meals, then he spends far too much time prancing about in feeling/metaphor land to really get the point across. Honestly with the last chapter addressed to his kids and the frequent references to his dying grandmother's life throughout the book, this felt more like a therapy session with a environmental flavor than a truly focused nonfiction book on why and how you can help mitigate climate change. But due to it's prose/poetry-ness I could see why it was well lauded as accessible to those not into a "proper" nonfic
