very informative and a must read for everyone. and even though the book is mostly centered around the USA, I think it can be applied to most other countries in the world too.

I love how the author used personal stories to support and give life to statistics. The audiobook was read by the author and you could feel her emotions coming though, very impactful.  The subtle and blatant call out of specific white “feminists” was almost cathartic. A very important book.

Absolutely required reading for anyone looking to get a more intersectional (strong focus on Black and poor perspectives) look on feminism. Very USA-centric, but inspiration to do research into how these issues manifest in my own country as well. The writing occasionally repeats itself, but I didn't mind. 10/10 would recommend!
