I think I liked the writing more than I liked the actual story. I absolutely love Flynn. kind of saw this whole "ending" coming. "gone girl" is still my favorite. I do believe I'll read her next book that comes out.

I would’ve given this book 1 star if I didn’t like the ending. The whole book was unpleasant and dark but more than that it was boring until the last 25%. The first 75% was long and boring and then the ending which was the best part felt super rushed. Overall story was interesting but I think it severely lacked execution. Not for me. I finished reading this book because I don’t like leaving books unread. But I would not recommend to others. Just read a full synopsis instead you’ll get the same result in my opinion.
