I think the thing i love about the horror genre is that it forces us as the reader to either sit with our own demons or society’s demons and this book definitely did that for me. It really had me thinking about some stuff and accomplished exactly what it set out to do, i think

This author is a master of dark, twisted, grimy stories that, even though you pretty much know the outcome, you still feel compelled to read due to the great pacing and storytelling happening within. This for me ranks right up there with Gone Girl. Our femail protaganist, like in Flynn's other stories, is totally screwed up, but definitely slanting torwards sympathetic. Excellent story.
