Glad to finally be back into this series. What a great group of characters. I enjoy each of their stories. Auri and Kal's relationship is growing in this and I really love it. I wasn't expecting Tyler's story to go where it does but I had an absolutely wonderful time with it. This book was both hilarious and heartbreaking from start to finish. Had a great time and excited to see where the final book goes. The reason I'm rating it 4.5 stars and just because there are some moments where I would lose a bit of interest. It thankfully does pick up quickly after those moments but it did happen a few times.

Aurora Burning
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was time to jump into this world again, and I didn't know what to expect at all. I have been hesitant to pick it up as my thoughts about the first book were pure chaos, but oh did this surprise me-
This book cleared up all the leftovers of my confusion and it was amazing! I'm truly annoyed at myself for staying away from this for so long...It´s been on my shelves for months, honestly.
The humor is chef´s kiss and it's full of action. I loved the characters, loved the world building, loved the plot- you get it, I loved everything about it.
This is the kind of book that makes me forget I´m an actual person who's reading, instead of living another life. These twists kept coming out of nowhere, and I was shocked on multiple occasions (sorry to my sisters who had to listen to my outbursts and rants...)
Anyway, I can't WAIT to read the next book!

3 stars? 1 star? 5 stars? I don't know, but I do know that this book wasn't always a favourite. For now I will give it 2.5 stars. Right in the middle of the rating scale of 5.

I was definitely looking forward to this book, after I read the first book last year. I was so excited to get started, but when I learned of cliffhangers (just like the previous book) I was unsure if I should start. Eventually on July 18th, 2 months after I got the book, I began reading. I expected I would enjoy it and would be done with it in a wink... instead I struggled and forced myself to at least read 100 pages a day of this book. No matter what.

Review to come on Friday.

What the absolute fuck all was that ending?! I have a midterm in 6 hrs - tell me I did not spend precious time devouring this book only to find a cliffhanger to shame all others, instead of studying.
I really need to stop beginning series that have not been completed yet.
