In a book series with this many twists and turns, you should expect to be surprised.
I said you should EXPECT to be surprised. But you won't be. At all.
Well, I take that back. You'll be surprised to see that this series is fianlly at an end. No more.
Rosewood is inhabited by some really awful people. The girls are idiots. The rest of their classmates are all vindictive, small people. The adults are all completely heartless.
I find it odd to believe that all the girl's boyfriends just stuck with them through this mess. And Spencer even attracted someone DURING the trial? What?
I love it when an author drops a bit of information that makes you ask "now what does that mean?" Well, I like it when they eventually get to telling you that. There was one in this book that never went anywhere. Or in my haste to be done with it, I missed it. Early on, Ally says that it's good that she has to wear all white for now. But why? Did I miss the part that said why this was?
In the end, this series entertained me. But I'm VERY happy to say that I got all these at the library, so I wasn't out anything but a few hours from reading them. I think I gave this book an extra star just because it was the end.

Such an AMAzzing ending to this long series! It could have not have ended better! I loved all this twists and turns! Allie finally got what was coming to here and all the girls got a happy ending!
Such a fast and quick read!
Such a fast and quick read!
This was decent end to the series I guess. It had a happy ending at least. But if you are interested in this series, just watch the show.
I have done my research and can now write with confidence. Gone Girl was released in 2012 and Vicious in 2014, maybe it has no link may it has but some plot of Vicious really resemble Gone Girl but not entirely the same. As the book starts with Alison which is great but the journal and the fake tortured is just so resembling and blood everywhere and not cleaned very well it kind of the same plot with some of it changed.
Welcome back, Wren.
Mrs. Field is far most the character I've hated in the entire series more than Alison.
Hanna getting proposed and Aria making a brilliant move. Hanna not forgiving her dad was my favourite moment as now there was some sense in her character.
Really Emily dead............Shocking.
It was brilliant of Sara Shepard to introduce a flashback of Hallbjorn from book 4.5 into this book finale.
Half of the book or even one-third of the book is about the meaningless life of the girls instead of Alison because I really loved silly details about the girls whenever they were sure to get Ali but got into a dead end in the end.
"Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you" from Catch-22 was brilliant to show that Noel was really going to cause Aria trouble.
The truth about the letter was all that kept me reading and guessing when was this going to be enlightened. Chapter 20 is by far my favourite chapter because it's well structured and reveals part of the truth. I really enjoyed Chapter 20. After chapter 20 it was back to boring but Hanna wedding and Spencer coming back were heart touching and a lovely chapter yet I miss Emily not being part of it.
It was cheesy to have someone name Miss Vicious as the same name of the book.
Hats off to Sara Shepard to keep me guessing whether Emily was really dead or not, because how could a swimmer like Emily seriously die in the sea as water is the only thing Emily is comfortable with. Great plot twist and thanks for bringing Emily back. Mind blowing twist because no one would have taught Emily was that strong and intelligent to track Ali back and bring her down. After reading 17 books of this series I kind of get some of Sara idea because I knew Ali mum would be involved in helping her.
Finally, Ali is back and I get to fulfil my wish by knowing everything but damn it I had to read 29 chapters even though 2 chapters were really fun. But I kept reading for the sake of knowing the truth and ending this series.
I loved how she wrote chapters about the past and present just like a TV Show.
Great Ali was confessing everything, but what I really wanted to know is how Ali got out all that blood to make it look like a murder because really I didn't get that answer.
Aria seriously back with Noel again couldn't she have to find someone else like Emily in the next chapter.
I loved the book ending on Alison instead of one of the girls.
I guess sometimes when you read good books you want it to continue and here it continued and I thanks, Sara Shepard for it. No matter how many time I complain about the last book I still love this book series it's my first long book series I've read but now it's time to say goodbye to Rosewood and the girls and move on to something else.

Perfect way to end a great series with a page-turning finale.
LOVED this book until the end. It was left too open for me.
Can't say I'm surprised about any of this: what happened in the back, how quickly I read it, and how everything ended. That kind of predictability turns a lot of people off from books, but I've grown to become so engrossed by Shepard's writing style that I don't care. Sure, this series should basically have a subtitle of "How Many Times Can These Girls Fuck Up?" - but I can't say that I was ever bored. I was never wishing it would just end already like most people. It's kind of difficult for me to summarize how this series has been so important to me for the past nine years. It kept me guessing and kept me READING during years I had no time to read. I'm sad that it's over, but am very satisfied with the ending. This book was certainly the epitome of a "wrap-up" final book; it felt kind of rushed because Shepard obviously wanted to tie up loose ends before the series completely ended. There was little action but a lot of things coming to a close. Overall I can't give it a full 5 stars because it felt rushed and, at times, unrealistic. I read this book in three sittings over the course of 12 hours, as usual, and still can't believe I'm closing this chapter of my reading life! <3
