Einfach Wahnsinn!
Also da kommen so viele Wendungen, da kommt man einfach echt nicht drauf. Dann noch der Schockmoment im Buch. Ich dachte einfach nur Nein. Aber wie sich dann alles zusammengefügt. Was geht nur in de Kopf der Autorin vor? Spannung pur einfach mal wieder gewesen. 
Die Entwicklung der Charakter und Handlung ist einfach genial und macht süchtig. Aber jetzt heißt es wieder warten bis das nächste Buch raus kommt.

I feel like the writer has really come into her own and found her stride with this series ending the second book & coming into the third - It is absolutely gripping from start to finish!

The second book was not my favorite but this one really redeemed the series for me. We started continuing from that massive cliffhanger at the very end of book 2 (i’m still thrown off by that bc what??) and get to dive a little deeper into Auricks true identity in the demechnef facility. Thing went pretty well for about thirty seconds and then I wanted to dnf because what the hell do you mean Dessin is dead????? Skylennas arc into being this badass fmc was amazing, going through all of baby sky and kanes memories that had been locked away was so bittersweet and really pulled at my heartstrings getting know exactly why everything played out the way it did and why Dessin was so secretive all the time. You guessed it (I kind of did too because there was absolutely no way) he's alive! THANK GOD. I liked where Skylenna was going because she wasn't so whiny anymore but I could not do the rest of this book and another book without Dessin. With him coming back we got a few good spicy scenes and we are now on the Vexamen ship, captured but on it. Also Brandi must really love cliffhangers because what the fuck what that ending??? I'm SAT. Anywho, I'll update you on the next book🫡
