This was what I was waiting for! This was what I had expected from the second half of book 2. FINALLY.

The worldbuilding is still anything but great and just comes across as random at times and only explained if absolutely necessary. The overall story is starting to suffer from it. The Fantasy/SciFi aspect is also so random and weird. Wouldn’t have needed it tbh. Feel like it could have been very easily solved in different ways. 

Also: what is the technical standing of this world? They have electricity and chemicals and high technology but no phones or similar modern technology. Without any explanation it just comes across so random at times.

Still, the story was really good. The character „growth“ or more so „change“ felt needed and deserved and saved the romance aspect as well.
The spice still felt a bit random and rushed but can be accepted.

Even with 1-2 small but illogical plotholes, its fun how more and more is unraveled. Its so much fun.
