Another adventure with Twig and friends. I expected more of it to take place on a sky ship, but I was not disappointed. Twig has really come into his own here. And although there are times where he is uncertain and you are reminded of just how young he is, he is honorable and constantly learning and growing. He is no longer just a scared little boy. He's the captain of the Edgedancer and he's on a mission to save his crew and all of The Edge. Although this is the end of Twig's story, The Edge Chronicles continue. At some point, I will continue with them. For this world is remarkable. It's so much bigger than it appears on the surface, and I know there is so much more to explore and enjoy.

There is so much going on its something incredible. The travels to find what Twig was looking for, are hard and arduous. Life is not easy here.

This book just didn't hold my interest. I don't care about the characters anymore. It is very unusual for me to not finish a fantasy novel, but I just kept thinking about all the other books I could be reading that I'd like better than this one..

I am SO HAPPY. Not only was this book a fabulous end to the Twig Saga, it also includes the short story 'The Stone Pilot' which was originally a World Book Day release, which I thought I would never see again! Fab!♡

My favourite book in my favourite childhood series. No matter how many times I read this, or how old I get (I first read it over 10 years ago), it never fails to completely capture me. Every time I read the final lines of the prologue of every book in the series, I get shivers down my spine.

"The Deep Woods, the Edgelands, the Twilight Woods, the Mire and the Stone Gardens. Undertown and Sanctaphrax. The River Edgewater. Names on a map.
Yet behind each name lie a thousand tales - tales that have been recorded in ancient scrolls, tales that have been passed down the generations by word of mouth- tales which are even now being told.
What follows is but one of those tales.
